New Orleans Haunted History Ghost Tour

My Review: A fun walking tour, but I would have preferred to just keep going and have the tour last a little shorter than to stop for a 15-minute break at a bar. My friends and I weren't really drinking, so we just stood around waiting for the tour to start up again. Very entertaining tour guide, but some of his stories didn't hold up upon further investigation after the fact - was still fun, though!

Jewish Prague Walking Tour

My Review: The guide was horrible - she barely spoke above a whisper and didn't offer any information about the Jewish Quarter. She did talk a lot about buildings on the way to the Jewish Quarter, which kept us walking 45-minutes to even get to the first site in the Quarter, even though it should have taken at most 10 minutes to get to the first stop. In the Jewish Museum and other sites, she suggested we read the information at the exhibit and offered nothing supplemental. It would have been better to just buy an admission ticket and go on our own. We have done many Viator tours and have loved them all until this one. Usually the guides are a wealth of information, but not this one. Truly awful. When she left us, the others on the tour agreed - she was the worst tour guide any of us had ever experienced.

Terezin Concentration Camp Day Tour from Prague

My Review: The tour was good, and having a chance to visit Terezin was moving and well worth the trip. The guide was just OK. He had a lot of information, which was great - but his English wasn't good enough to respond to questions. That said, he suggested we ask them of the guide we had when we reached Terezin (we had one guide on the bus and another on site) and she was excellent. I wish we had spent a little more time walking around what had been the ghetto too, and not just the prison. And, I wish we had been allowed to take the time to watch the 1/2 hour documentary that another tour group watched - we were only allowed to watch a shorter propaganda film preceding it. I think the historical film might have been helpful.

Cesky Krumlov Day Trip from Prague

My Review: A beautiful day trip and a wonderful guide! Our guide did repeat information multiple times, but we grew to appreciate that, as there was a lot of information thrown at us. She did a great job connecting historical references to the places we visited, and connecting them back to sites we saw in Prague itself.

Prague in One Day Sightseeing Tour

My Review: We did this tour on our first day and it was a great way to be intruded to the city - helped us decide what to go back to see more of. We took the morning tour, and it was timed perfectly to be at Prague Castle when the changing of the guard took place - a fun surprise!
