Private Tour: Petra Day Trip from Amman

My Review: The driver was on-time, and the operator was very helpful in rescheduling our trip when the airline lost our luggage. The price paid was very high, and we were offered several cheaper alternatives upon our arrival in Amman. We would have paid a premium for the personal service, but we were disappointed about the mandatory stops for gas and souvenirs both coming and going. My wife was ill most of the day, but despite our requests to go directly back to Amman when we finished touring Petra we still stopped 3 times once for gas and two times for "rest stops" which conveniently occurred at souvenir shops. The drivers English was decent, but he was still difficult to understand at times, and was not very conversational.
