Cape Sounion and Temple of Poseidon Half-Day Trip from Athens

My Review: This was by far the most beautiful drive from Athens to the cape. Wow, it was breathtaking. Our guide was terrific and she made everything come to life for us. We never intended this vacation to be an educational trip but we sure learned a lot! This was my favorite place on our Athens trip.

Athens Night Sightseeing Tour with Greek Dinner Show

My Review: The show was good - I really enjoyed the dancers but they drug too many people from the audience on stage too many times - that got really old. The dinner was the worst food we had while we were in Athens and the value of the whole thing was pretty low for a pretty high price. There was no point at all in calling it a night sight seeing tour as all we did was drive to the port where you could see absolutely nothing in the dark! That made no sense at all. Just go straight to the dinner show, save the drive time, don't go to the port and cut the price. That would make it better. It was my least favorite thing on our whole trip. We used this operator for all our day trips and this was the only one we didn't like.

Delphi Day Trip from Athens

My Review: The drive from Athens to Delphi was really cool, it was nice to be out of the city. The mountains are amazing and our bus driver did a terrific job navigating. The ruins were spectacular. We didn't get to go to the museum because of the national strike in Athens that day but our guide took us to an 11th century monastery instead and that was incredible! The guide really knew what she was talking about both at Delphi and the monastery. It was really an awesome day! The lunch at the hotel was really nice, too. We loved it!

Athens Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

My Review: We did this sightseeing tour on our first full day in Athens and it really helped us get our bearings so we could then walk most anywhere we wanted to go after that - plus it showed us a few things we weren't even aware of that we definitely wanted to go back to. Our guide was wonderful - her English was fluent and she knew her history incredibly well. There was nothing we asked her that she didn't have an answer for. Very informative and entertaining. I highly recommend taking this tour early on in your visit.
