I couldn't reach the company by phone. My Egyptian guide also couldn't, but he knew someone who knew the company and I was told what time I would be picked up. All went very well with the tour. My guide was excellent. A note was left by the company at my hotel but since I was on a guided tour the hotel couldn't find my reservation.

My Review
My airline reservation didn't have the terminal number for my United Airlines flight. The driver wasn't sure that he was dropping me off at the right terminal. I had to ask someone at the terminal if it was the correct one. I thought the time of my pickup was a bit too close but it worked out okay.

I think it would be better to spend more time at the shrine at Nikko. The national park was not interesting, but is supposed to be when the leaves are changing color. Good guide.

My Review
A very good trip, though there were long bus rides. We had an unusual clear day to view Mt. Fuji. The Japanese lunch was interesting--I added it at the restaurant. The bullet train ride was a great experience. Very good guide.

Kamakura Full-Day Walking Tour with Optional Rickshaw Ride from Tokyo

My Review
On this tour, we only had 11 people plus the guide. We took a series of trains to Kamakura. The giant Buddha in Kamakura was worth the whole trip. The Japanese lunch was good. I was the only one of the 11 to take the rickshaw ride, so I felt somewhat embarrassed about taking it. However, it was an interesting ride. Our guide was great.

Tokyo Morning Tour: Meiji Shrine, Senso-ji Temple and Ginza Shopping District

My Review
Both the shrine and the temple were very interesting. We also visited the beautiful Imperial Palace East Garden. People could remain at the temple do shop on an adjoining street or get dropped off at Ginza. The drive around Tokyo from one place to another was also interesting. We had a very good guide. On all the tours, the guides gave us instructions of how to return to our hotels via the subway.
