Really not worth the hassle. 7 hrs in the bus to go and come back, rest of the time waiting for 47 people to go to the toilet numerous times or waiting for the trains. The actual time we had to spend there were 1 hr on the boat (during which only 30 min actual boat ride, rest waiting in the different harbours for hoards of cruise tourists to get on an off; 1 hr 45 in the biggest village, of which 1 hr 15 lost in a restaurant highly recommended by our guide Sonia (we were supposed to be served very quickly with a delicious meal for little money - instead it was total havoc, not really tasty and not cheap at all for the lousy service offered; waiter was insulting the clients and making constant remarks in Italian about not serving fastfood like we stupid clients were used to get - that was after an elderly couple waited for 1 hr for their supposedly Sonia pre ordered meal), 10 min walk on the lovepath and another 10 min to visit the third village. Really not worth the trouble. Sonia was offering the information like a headmistress to first grade kids, not at all as somebody wanting to share knowledge about ones own country, but like a chore to be done with by spelling ge-o-gra-phy to a bunch of stupid kids. I teach students and postgrads in medical school and I would never dream of using such a tone to my listeners. We were so tired in the end, we really didn't enjoy the place at all it seemed run down, shabby and overpriced for what they offer. If you want coloured houses on the cliffs go to Santorini or Mykonos.

Trip was really lovely, boat ride for 2 hrs, plenty time in Bellagio to admire the beauties. Worth the time and money.

Very nice excursion for one day, beautifull views. Do it and you won't regret.

The views from the train are beautifull and the excursion very well organized. However trip is a little long and a little static, as most of the day is spent in the bus or in the train. In the end it was worth the effort, but the day after we had to take it slower and walk a lot to stop feeling so stiff from sitting all day long.

Excellent. A lot of fun! Guide knew a lot of historic details and riding the segway along all the people trekking wearily in the heat was excellent!

Rome walking tour was a bit scarce, allthough guide was very nice, but as it was very crowded everywhere, we just got the feeling that everything was a little bit rushed. The cooking class was - as other reviews put it - great fun, but not what was advertised. We just learned to make 2 sorts of pasta, no sauces and no 4 courses, but the people at Fabiolous were very nice and fun, so we have a nice memory!

Vatican and St Peters Cathedral visit was very interesting and the guide Francesca full of knowledge. The afternooon part of the trip - with the other 3 papal churches -was a little bit less interesting, as both guides were a little bit tired and didn't make it quite so interesting. They talked a lot between themselves.

Excellent experience. The guide was a red haired American art graduate which enacted every statue in the gallery and presented everything very lively. She was the best guide we ever had. I am sorry that I am terrible with names and can't give her the credit she deserves.
