Very moving. Our wonderful tour guide Juling realised most participants on our tour were Australian so she gave an abundance of information relating to our diggers mixed in with a very concise overview of the fall of Singapore during WWII and life in Changi.
I would recommend every Aussie visitor to Singapore sign up for a tour of Changi Prison.
Our Istanbul in One Day Sightseeing tour was fabulous. We were on a cruise and all the cruise line tours were for 50 or more people. We has seven people on our tour.
Pick up was a breeze, our tour guide Omar was fantastic, intelligent, articulate, knowlegable and very keen to meet our needs.
The places we visited were breathtaking and lunch was scrumptuous.
I would recommend this day trip to anyone.
I have been on many Viator tours and this was the absolute worst yet!!!
Pick up at hotel was ok then transported to a central meeting point.
50 people crammed onto a non air-conditioned bus. Our "hostess" sang descriptions of each place non-stop in four languages (Italian, followed by English, followed by German followed by Spanish whew!!!). We endured a "wall of noise". German people sitting next to us were laughing as they said her German was shocking but they could understand her English. The bus wizzed passed some great monuments and if you were on the wrong side of the bus you missed out.
It was so bad we did not re-join the group when the disembarked for the one (and only) stop at the Trevi Fountain (12 minutes into tour) We told the tour guide we were leaving and walked back to our hotel.
My husband, son and I agree this was the absolute worst part of our Italian holiday.
I am being gererous by giving one star.
