I loved the visit to the fireflies. A very magical experience. We made sure we went on a new moon as the darker it is the better. Our guide was half an hour late picking us up. The monkey tour on the way to the fireflies was lovely. They are very friendly. I think everyone should see the fireflies. Absolutely amazing!

This tour is great just to see the elephants up close. If the money is going back to help rehabilitate them or just look after them, then that has to be a good thing. Our guide, though, was not so good. He got lost on the way there and took us to the wrong places. It was not very well organised.

I expected more from this experience. Save your money and just get a taxi to the caves. This was not a private tour. Our guide dropped us off at the base of the caves and said to meet back at the car in an hour. That is not a private tour. Once we climbed the 270 odd steps to the entrance, we were surrounded from the front to the back of the caves with rubbish everywhere. If this is supposed to be a temple people worship in, then why do they trash it? Absolutely disgusting.
