Vienna Airport Private Departure Transfer

My Review: Went smoothly after problems confirming the booking. Tried for 2 days by phone but kept getting the after hours message. Finally found an internet cafe and emailed confirmation which was answered with no delay. Had to phone 20 mins after pick up time as no car but apparetnly was a public holiday in Vienna and the driver knew the trip would be quicker due to less tarffic - but it would have ben good to know this as we sat in the hotel foyer waiting for 30 mins.

My Review: Positive - The coldest wettest day ever but most enjoyable, informative and the best way to sight see. Gives an over view of what there is to see. Negative - It should be noted on the booking form that you had to pull the Segways 80 metres up hill before we could practice. But - although we are fit 60 & 62 year olds - fit or otherwise this is a big ask for many younger people. Also in Florence the cost of the coffee break was included, here we had to pay. These things need to be standardised.

My Review: All positive - a brillient day - windy and very cold to shivering but the information provided was excellent. With extra background information given as well vs strict tourist book info. Great choice of coffee venue. Excellent guide, took her time in covering the venues.

Rome Segway Tour

My Review: Positive - Our first Segway tour of 3 - congrats on the patience of the guide in getting us accustomed to the segways. Tour was a pleasant intro to Rome and its many wonders. Most enjoyablewould recommend to anyone. Negative - Having to drag the Segways up the hill to the park to practise. Necessary but still an effort as the road is on the steep side.

My Review: What can you say - a positive experience, a terrific informative background of all areas covered. The backgorund on the change of painting style in the Sistine chapel made so much more sense after receiving this type of background information. Definately worth getting up early to beat the crowds! A great day would recommend it to anyone as you have lots of time after the tour to go back and spend more time in areas that you want to.

Pompeii Day Trip from Rome

My Review: A long day and worth every minute! The bus was comfortable - there was a stop approx half way which was welcome. The tour of Pompeii was thorough and enjoyable but the climb up Vesuvius was definately the highlight, the view was worth every aching muscle the day after :) But it should be noted that you need to be fairly fit as the ground is uneven and gravel easy to slip if not paying attention.

My Review: Rome traffic - it was a terrifying ride :) There appeared to be no rules but of course there were once you got used to them. Glad to be driven there - unfortuntaly there was a traffic hassle and most of the people who had booked cars (including other providers) were left waiting and starting to be concerned. That was until one driver mentioned the traffic hold up and we all relaxed! Yes would recommend as the driver was most helpful.

My Review: Staff were fantastic - food was great. Excellent selection to suit all tastes. The free soft drink was a terrific bonus on a very hot humid day. No rush to get you out. Photo taken was most professional and for the money a good cost package if you're into that sort of thing.
