Can't understand all the negative reviews this gets. If you read the information about this trip properly you are more than prepared for what is a long day, but there are plenty of breaks where you can get off the coach. Border crossings can't be helped but our guide did his best to let us know what was going on and for us it was smooth. The trip is an incredible experience, the weather is in the lap of the gods. For us more than worth the money.

To be honest it would be better to buy your own return boat ticket from Naples and see Capri for yourself as so much of the time is "free" the interesting parts are added cost anyway. Lunch lovely, we knew we had to pay for drinks, but 12 Euros for two sodas and two coffees is a bit steep. Otherwise a very enjoyable day.

Sadly the weather was not kind to us but still an unmissable trip. Pompeii Guide very knowledgeable translating in English and French for our group. Such a vast site you do only get a flavour but very enjoyable. Vesuvius on the day we went harder than we expected (wind chill of about minus 10 - or so it felt) but well worth the effort to say we had done it, even though there isn't much to see up there. Overall a very good combined trip.
