Absolutely fantastic trip.
We were picked up from the hotel and transfered to our coach for our first stop at the Muir Woods, this is a great place to visit and well worth a trip.
The coach driver was very friendly and knowledgable! Really kept us entertained during transit.
Our next stop was Sausilito which was a really pretty harbour village, top tip - get a pizza slice from Giovanni's Pizza and take it out, that way you can enjoy it on the water front with fantastic views of San Francisco.
Our coach driver then took us to Pier 33 and dropped us off for our Alcatraz tour, there was about an hour wait before our boat departed, but this gave us chance to enjoy some churros and relax in the sun.
Alcatraz was a must see, absolutely fantastic, the rangers were helpful and informative, and the audio tour was great and enabled you to go around Alcatraz at your own pace, you could pause it whenever you wanted if something was of interest. I would really recommend this trip whilst in San Francisco!!!
The tour company offered a courtesy shuttle back to your hotel from Pier 33, but we were staying close by in one of the hotels so didn't make use of this.
All in all it was a fabulous trip, and we would definately do it again!!!!!

Wow, what an amazing trip. In the morning we received a courtesy call an hour before our tour was due to commence, which was a really nice touch.
We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the tour office, where we were given CoffeeJuice and Pastries. Then onto the Coach to go to the west rim of the Grand Canyon, Bob the driver was absolutely brilliant, funny, knowledgable, completely entertaining!
We had a photo stop at Hoover Dam, which was a wonderful sight, and a comfort stop at Arizona Gateway, then onto the Grand Canyon via the Joshua Tree Forest.
The views on this trip were stunning. We had to change coaches before we got to the west rim, as the final leg was dirt tracks.
Arriving at the Grand Canyon transport centre, you could board a number of buses which would take you to the points of interest Eagle Point, Guano Point and the Ranch. These coaches ran every 10 or so minutes.
We stopped at Eagle Point first to do the skywalk, the views here were amazing, we went on the skywalk which although a little scary was an incredible experience.
At Eagle Point there were also Native Indian dancers who were more than happy to let you have your photo taken with them.
Onwards to Guano Point where we had some free lunch, we're both vegetarians and didn't find a problem with the options, we had vegetables, tortilla's, and Mini Macaroons for dessert.
We walked around Guano Point, you can see the Colorado river, and the helicopters doing their tours. It feels like you can see forever.
We had around 4 hours free time, and we found this to be ample.
A very worthwhile trip, great service from the tour company and an excellent driver!!!!
