If you want a day away from the hustle, bustle of the Strip, go to Red Rock Canyon. The scenery is awesome. The tour bus was punctual, and the guide was good; since I was in the back of the bus, didn't always hear him. Less time at "lunch" would have suited me and maybe a short hike would have been nice. The packed lunch provided was just okay - they could have done much better. People should be prepared to bring appropriate clothing for windy spots. Definitely not worth 6 hours - perhaps 4 hours would be sufficient. But main thing is that the canyon is definitely worth visiting, no matter how you get there.
