Heritage Beach Horse Ride

My Review: The experience was wonderful beyond my imagination, and I would be giving it 5 stars if it had delivered all it promised. What was missing was the history part (there was no time allowed to look at the exhibitions in the Great House, and the historical narration could only be heard by the first 2 or 3 people in a line of 8 or 9 horses. Still, the actual riding — the sensation of being on a horse in the ocean — was magnificent. The guides were kind and attentive, and the horses as gentle and compliant as can be, even for first-time riders. I loved, loved, loved it and look forward to returning there in the future.

My Review: Tour guide Jackson was great, both informative and funny. Learning about the flora and fauna, tasting the fresh coconut right off the tree, smelling the leaves of allspice and giant limes, sensational. And the camel ride, though quite brief, was delightful. Greta peope, great place, great time, great camels!

My Review: This was a wonderful adventure. It alternated peaceful times bobbing around in quiet pools, eating sweet Jamaican apples that fell off the trees into the crystal-clear water, with more adrenaline-inducing periods racing over the great rapids. Participants should prepare to be dumped in the water — or, if they don't swim, should feel free to ask the very helpful and attentive guides for an assist over the largest rapids. This was truly fun.

My Review: This was truly outstanding. We will remember it all our lives. It would have been nice to have a coffee and bathroom break after the first hour by the time we got to the monastery, we were in great need of these services! Still, this is an experience not to be missed.

Schonbrunn Palace Evening: Palace Tour, Dinner and Concert

My Review: Again, a wonderful evening. The tafelspitz was not as good as we had at Pachuka I missed the creamed spinach and the bone marrow soup, but the overall evening was quite special. Communications about starting time of tour were a little unclear. Still, we were very happy.

Vienna Wine Tavern Night Tour with Giant Ferris Wheel

My Review: This was great fun. The food was not the best I had in Austria, but it was good enough. The show was delightful, as was the ferris wheel ride. A little confusion about the pickup arrangements, but it all got smoothed out. I'm very glad we went.

Munich City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

My Review: It was pretty costly for basically bus fare. Unlike our other guides in Europe, the narrators spoke poor English, and with screaming kids on board and other passengers intent on carrying on their own conversations, it was hard to hear or understand. We probably would not do it again. Would take the Munich Walking Tour next time.
