We met our guide and then we were driven to the cruise boat. The guide took us outside and explained the buildings. We then sat down to eat and had an adequate buffet. The guide explained different buildings and we went out again to look out at the city. He took each person right to their hotel though it wasn't in the program.

Budapest by night is magnificent. Our guide walked us from our meeting point to the ship and stopped along the way giving interesting anecdotes. She left us at the ship and we were on our own to get on the night cruise.

Lake Como is incredibly beautiful and the ride on the boat for 2 hours is breathtaking. The earphone set did not work well on the boat so I missed most of the explanations.

This is a great way to get your bearings in a city. I do it in every location they have one. You also get to know the history of the city that you miss when you walk around on your own.

This was an incredible tour. The guide was wonderful, answering all questions and constantly asking if we had any needs or questions. I did go on a Sunday and she took us into the Duomo. This is the best way to get into the Last Supper, because I saw many people who couldn't get in on their own because of the limited, timed tickets.

Had breathtaking sights, but the guide was a bit rushed and shortened the trip.

The chef was excellent at explaining all the recipes. We went to the market, got an explanation of olive oil, chatted with the butcher and made homemade pasta and tiramisu! An exceptional experience.

The tour guide droned on in Italian, Spanish, French, English and German. I speak 4 of the 5 languages and often didn't understand what she was saying. In Murano the boat pulls up to one glass blowing shop in which you were supposed to watch the glass blower for 5 minutes, shop for 10 minutes in only that shop and get back on the boat all within 30 minutes. The same thing happened in Burano though we did have 45 minutes there. There was nothing to see in Torcello. I would have enjoyed walking more in the first 2 places to see the many colored houses and visited shops that were not so planned.

The first part with the walk around the city and skipping the line into St. Mark's, but what was awesome was the boat ride for one hour. We were in a private taxi/boat with 6 other people. A guide spoke about the buildings and history of the city. I got to stand up and stick my head out the back and take great pictures all along the way.

I liked skipping the line and at both places I had very knowledgable guides. However in Uffizi you enter so late that the museum closes within a half hour of when the guide finishes with the highlights. I would like to have seen more on my own.

This is a great way to become acquainted with the city, get to places that are impossible to walk to, learn about the history of the area and use as a means of public transportation.

This a great way to see the city from above ground and each time we were on the bus we'd hear new facts about NYC.
