This was a very good trip.The only thing that spoilt it was the abrupt change in the weather half way through the afternoon. The organiser can hardly be held to account for that! The two destinations are both scenic and interesting and the conduct of the tour was very good indeed. Despite the rain, we enjoyed our day out and would certainly recommend it to others.

A delightful day out which lived up to expectations and to the advertising. Giverney is a real treat and the early departure of the tour from Paris got us there in time to beat the crowds who were arriving as we were departing. The aspect of the tour which the advertisers didn't make anything of was the delightful drive through Normandy on the way to lunch and to Versailles. The lunch at the old mill was really good. The countryside and the villages en route were superb. Versailles is magnificent, but our tour was on a Sunday and the crowds were 'wall-to-wall' detracting a little from the enjoyment. We would recommend a weekday tour with this in mind. The minibus is the way to go, so much more friendly and you don't bring your own crush with you. A great day out to be recommended unreservedly. This is the way to do it. It beats looking for taxis and it locks in the price. Our plane was late and this threw the organisation of the Transfer company a little, bur we were soon on our way not in the minibus depicted, but in a new Citroen A6 , just us and a very pleasant, friendly driver.
