My Review: Stunning scenery, free time to do your own thing, would recommend the full day trip over the half day - we were rushed and missed out on a few things we would have liked to have done. We didn't think it was going to be as good as it was. We recommend the funicular ride.

My Review: A great quick overview of Gaudi's creations. The open-top tourist bus covers a lot of this ground though (and it was much cheaper) so I felt we doubled up a bit here. But if you like a guided tour - this was interesting.

Avila and Segovia Day Trip from Madrid

My Review: I have to be honest Avila was a bit of a let down (it's all wall and not much else) but thank goodness for Segovia - that place is amazing! Thankfully you do spend most of the tour time in Segovia. We went for the no-lunch included option and we found a pretty stunning restaurant overlooking the huge cathedral - it was amazing. I would recommend for a gentle day out of Madrid.

Keukenhof Gardens and Tulip Fields Tour from Amsterdam

My Review: The easy opition to see the Keukenhof Gardens. They leave right in the center of Amsterdam and there is no hassle with buses, changing trains etc. I recommend this for the time poor traveller. Seven hours is a bit too much time there in my opinion - 4 hours would be spot on. Hope this helps.
