It's the best way to arrive in Venice. We simply checked in to the booth number indicated, waited about five minutes and were then escorted to our waiting water taxi about five - ten minutes walk. Wonderful view of the Grand Canal and the lagoon and literally a hop, step and a jump to our hotel.
