Danube Valley Day Trip from Vienna

Vienna, Austria

My Rating
2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

My Review
The scenary was beautiful, but the bus ride to get to the boat was less than perfect. Cramp double decker bus with a multilingual group. The tour guide had to explain everything in four different languages.Because of this, I felt that there was less interaction with the guide. Speaking of the guide...he needed a shower! Passengers joke among themselves about how bad he smelled. As for the trip on the river, it was relaxing and beautiful. The high light was the tour of the abbey.Awesome! Also, didn't like the fact at the end of the tour that you were not taken back to your hotel. You were dropped off in old Vienna. This was fine for me and my wife, as we had already spent a few days in Vienna and knew our way around

Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle Tour from Ljubljana

Ljubljana, Slovenia

My Rating
4 star rating: Recommended

My Review
The train ride into the caves starts the fun, and then I was dazzled by the cave itself! It was one of the most beautiful caves that I have been in! The castle at Predjama was interesting but I have seen better. Although, it was in a very scenic area. Thomas was our guide on this tour as well and he was great!

Brussels Chocolate Walking Tour and Workshop

Brussels, Belgium

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
My wife loved this tour! And our guide Mark was awesome. Since it was a private tour of just my wife and I, he tailored it just for us! He also threw in a little mini beer tour in conjunction with the chocolate tour. Made both my wife and happy! He made it one of the most enjoyable tours that we experienced in Europe this Summer. He even offered us his personal cell number to call any time if we had an issue or a question while we were on our travels! Now that is customer service to the max! He was very knowledgeable on all things Beligan, and was a pleasure to talk to while sipping good beer and eating good chocolate. The price was well worth it! We would do it again!

Private Viewing of Stonehenge including Bath and Lacock

London, United Kingdom

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
Thirty years ago was the last time I was in the UK. During that trip my travelling companions vetoed me on going to Stonehenge, I have rued that decision ever since. Well I have finally seen Stonehenge, and this tour is the only way to see it! This is the only tour were you are allowed to walk among those ancient stones! The tour group is kept to a minimum of thirty guest, and once you are there the group is halved so that each group is able to spend some quality time walking around and through the stone circle! It was eerie, exhilierating, and powerful all at once! Oh did I forget, You are the only tour group that is there! No one else! This is the only tour were you are allowed to walk among these stone giants. All the other tours you have to stay 25 yards away behind a barrier and share that path with the hoards that come to see Stonehenge. You just can't feel that magical mystical feeling while among hundreds of pushing yaking tour groups. That is why this one is the best. Also, our guide was awesome she was very knowledgeable. Bath and Lacock were both interesting as well. Especially Bath if you are as interested in Roman history as I am. But all of this is upstaged by Stonehenge! This is the only tour to go on. You have the choice of morning or sunset. We chose sunset. It took thirty years to see Stonehenge and it was worth it!
