My Review: Manly beach is one of our favourite spots. Spend the day snorkeling and then get some fish and chips to eat at the beach.

Queen Victoria Building (QVB)

My Review: The Queen Victoria Building is a must-see in Sydney. The architecture is gorgeous and the stained glass windows, tessellated tiles and sandstone walls have been beautifully restored. Primarily it is a shopping destination. You'll find all the big name boutiques as well as some uniquely Australian souvenir shops. For a really special afternoon, try high-tea at the Tea Rooms on the top floor. If that's not an option, there are lots of choices for meals and snacks. To grab a quick snack, try the floor underground - for quiet sit-down meals make your way to the top floor.

If you like the QVB, try the Strand Arcade

My Review: And it has Haighs, the best chocolate store in Sydney (Haighs actually comes from Adelaide but there is one store in Sydney and that's at the Strand.)! That's reason enough to visit the Strand Arcade.
