Small-Group Deluxe Grand Canyon and Sedona Day Trip

My Review: Kirk R. of Detours was great! Gave good facts about the history and surroundings. Very pleasant and helpful..always professional. If you have limited time to see Grand Canyon--this is the trip to do! Was offered an add-on of a helicoptor tour of North and South Rim of Canyon. What an incredible experience. Sedona Red Rocks and brief stop at Navaho trading post (30 mins) was excellent. Included lunch was healthy, very ample. Had a picnic overlooking the Canyon. Beautiful. Would recommend this trip to those with limited time. Excellent.

Monaco and Eze Small Group Day Trip from Cannes

My Review: They did an excellent job. The guide, Marie was excellent. She was knowledgeable and pointed out many interesting historical/cultural facts. Eze is beautiful small 10th c. village. The factory tour of perfume focuses more on methods used many years ago (i.e., not a true tour of a factory) and more time in the sales room. Perfume is quality. Time spent in and around Monaco-the castle, Oceanography museum and surrounding area was well spent. We stopped briefly -1 hour- in Monte Carlo...that was enough to get a sense of the opulence! The scenery and drive from Nice to Monaco and back was beautiful. Went in the low season-December-so crowds were much less. Would recommend for those that want to do a day trip to Monaco. Marie as our guide was superb!

Mt Fuji, Lake Ashi and Bullet Train Day Trip from Tokyo

My Review: Excellent tour and well worth the time spent. The tour guide was knowleddgeable and provided us sufficient time at each stop along the way. The best was the 30-40 mins boat trip on Lake Ashi...at 4:30 pm in the afternoon in November, it was dusk and ethereral in atmosphere. Superb. Would do again!

My Review: Did this tour in the pouring rain in November but the guide was excellent and made the best of the situation. Would recommend to those who want to get a good overview and then later go back and explore more on their own...which is what I did.

The Great Tour of Zurich

My Review: Would recommend this as an initial overview to the city and then go back and see sights more in depth. Tour guide was pleasant but a bit 'scatter-brained"! :-) Trip back on Lake Zurich quite nice. Pack your own lunch in advance and weather permitting enjoy by the shores of Lake Zurich or on the boat trip back.

Prague Walking Tour Following in Mozart's Footsteps

My Review: If you are all musically inclined and enjoy a walking tour, seeing where Mozart lived and what he did on his 4 separate trips to Prague between 1789 and 1791 was excellent. The music museum, located a short walk once you cross the Charles Bridge was superb!

My Review: Excellent overview of the city of Prague and tour guide Helen was knowledgeable and provided lots of insight. This city tour is an excellent way to orient yourself to the city and then go back or continue to explore on your own. Would recommend!
