Romantic Horse and Carriage Ride through Paris

My Review: This was a beautiful way to spend our last night in Paris. Our driver was at the collection point spot on time. The evening was cold and a lovely little blanket was provided for each of us along with the offer of a bottle of champagne. Our ride took us past the lovely back streets around the Eiffel Tower, toward the Champs Elysee - all with commentary from the lovely coach driver, including quirky information about some sites. The calming clip clop of the horse hooves against the traffic noise is beautiful and the people on the street loved watching the carriage pass by. Experiencing the Champs Elysee (albeit a section of) by carriage is really something else ! An excellent, romantic, exciting adventure and I would be sure to re-book this tour anytime I were in Paris for the sheer experience and luxury of it.

Paris to Bruges Day Trip

My Review: Bruges is delightful, and magical. It is just like a postcard of a fairytale. We visited in winter and the day was cold ! The Christmas decorations and markets were up and active. We thought the time was perfect for our visit. The guides were interesting spoke a few different languages, and there was free time after the initial tour to do your own thing and acquaint yourself with Bruges and all it has to offer. There are some lovely little shops browse these and many of the same big shops you see everywhere (leave these for another day). The chocolates and lace are divine and that is just the displays !
The bus ride is long and there was no bathroom on board the bus but it does make a refreshment stop both ways. Ensure you take your passport - unlike me who then had to jump in a cab and do a round trip quick smart to retrieve it ! - totally unnecessary as the bus was not stopped and we didn't need it but better safe than sorry I guess. Absolutely worth the long, long day !

My Review: Fascinating. Would have enjoyed a longer walk. The Tour Guide was extremely interesting. I would have really enjoyed a longer tour with more dialogue. Absolutely worthwhile if you are interested.

My Review: Great tour - excellent guide, extremely beautiful sites. Don't get caught up watching the change of guard you'll miss the amazing treasures in the Chapel, State Rooms and the Doll's House. Fantastic day out. Absolutely worth while. Who would have thought a bunch of rocks could be so magnificent !
