Florence Half-Day or Full-Day Sightseeing Tour
Florence, Italy
My Rating

This was an excellent way to see a couple of the most important galleries, with no line-ups! I highly recommend the full day tour. Lunch was absolutely fabulous and worth the additional cost, a great segue from morning to afternoon.

Tuscan Cooking Class and Dinner in Florence
Florence, Italy
My Rating

Absolutely wonderful! You really learn what goes on in the kitchen at a fine restaurant. Later, to eat what you prepared yourself, with fine wine in the restaurant, was a true eye-opener -- knowing what it took to prepare a delicious meal that you ate. I will do this again, next time I'm in Firenze!

Siena and San Gimignano Day Trip from Florence
Florence, Italy
My Rating

This was a great way to see two important cities. It was so hot, the air-conditioned bus was a respite! You will really enjoy this tour, just remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. There are stunning views of the Tuscan countryside - don't forget your camera. You'll experience your own personal "under the Tuscan sun" day that you won't ever forget!

Florence Concert and Dinner

They say that opera was invented in Firenze. This was an experience not to be missed! Fine dinner, followed by an incredible performance. I actually felt goosebumps hearing the tenor sing "nessun dorms" - up close and personal. You would not regret having this experience. I would do it again!

Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Walking Tour including Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Rooms and St Peter's
Rome, Italy

Worth the cost for beating the LONG line-ups alone! Our guide was fabulous you will see all the high-points along the way. To enhance your experience, read / study the Sistine chapel artwork before your trip. You will really enjoy it so much more. Earlier in the day is best for this trip. I will do it again. Next time, I'll break from the tour after seeing the Sistine chapel, and return to the museum to visit even more rooms. I think that this is a must-do tour for anyone who visits Rome for the first time.

Ancient Appian Way, Catacombs and Roman Countryside Bike Tour
Rome, Italy
My Rating

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had! You'll see parts of Rome and the countryside that you'd never be able to see on foot or by bus/car/train. Our guide was fantastic and so energetic! We learned a lot about the places we visited and your tour of the catacombs is a highlight. Our stop for the picnic lunch bread, cheese, wine - by the local farm, was absolutely wonderful. It's a bit of a challenge for those who haven't ridden a bicycle for a while, but these bikes are supreme top-class. You'll enjoy every minute. Just remember to bring appropriate clothes for biking (it can get hot) and you'll enjoy it all the better.

Trastevere and Rome's Jewish Ghetto Half-Day Walking Tour
Rome, Italy
My Rating

I took this tour my first day in Rome. Wonderful to see this part of the city where most of the locals live, shop and dine. Wonderful restaurants here and gelateria. A zone filled with history and architecture, I highly recommend it. After the tour, you'll want to come back here again on your own, just to wander, savor Italia and mingle with locals. There is a lot if walking, but it is worth while.
