Barcelona Hop-on Hop Off Tour: North to South Route

My Review: We enjoyed the tour. It's not a huge deal, but it would have been nice if the bus could have accepted our vouchers instead of us having to find the office to exchange the voucher for the tickets. On the other hand, the representative in the tourism office was excellent, very friendly and informative, so it's good that we went to this office because she was able to help us locate a specific restaurant that we'd wanted to visit. We appreciated that there was an attempt to keep lines orderly as we waited for the buses unlike some of the other ports, but the buses didn't seem to run as quickly as the buses of the competing company and the wait felt longer as we watched several of the competitor's buses pick up its customers for every one bus that passed for our tour. Good value for the money, however, and we would do it again if we were to visit Barcelona, since there is so much to see and this tour offers an opportunity to visit lots of places.

Palma de Mallorca City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

My Review: At the port, there was no line for this bus - instead, there was a mob. Everyone, including the two tour bus employees responsible for collecting payments and vouchers, seemed to just think that crowding the bus was the best way to go. When one of these employees finally did decide that some organization was necessary, she was very rude to the crowd as she motioned and barked for people to move further away from where the bus was stopped. Even then, she didn't put any effort into encouraging the formation of a line. In the meantime, people were cutting into the crowd left and right. The tour itself was decent, but the driver stopped for long periods of time for reasons that were not clear to us and so we felt like we lost significant time in traveling on this bus.

Palermo City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

My Review: There are many beautiful locales to see in Palermo, but in our opinion there were only a couple of spots that we felt the need to "hop off" for. For that reason, this tour was perfect because we could stay on the bus and take it all in. This tour seemed to cover the main points of interest and so it was worth the money. Best of all, the pick-up spot was within a comfortable walking distance from the port where our ship was docked. The buses were a bit too crowded at times this city is a crowded place anyway, but other than that we were satisfied.

My Review: You get many discounts, including free admission to several attractions. Because there is so much that you can access with this pass, it helps if you will be in Marseille for at least a day. The longer you're there, the more savings you can enjoy with this pass. Even though we weren't there for a full day, we still enjoyed this pass. At the tourism office where we exchanged our vouchers for our passes the representative was very friendly and informative.
