Bordeaux Wine Day Trip

My Review: Our guide turned up 30 minutes into the trip, but from there she was very friendly and informative. There were only 3 English speaking people on the trip, but she made sure we were given just as much attention as the 20 French tourists. It was quite entertaining watching her jump from French to English and keeping the whole group engaged. The information we received at each winery was very informative and our guide did a great job of translating eveything into English for us. Lunch was great and highly recommended, especially for fans of cheese. Aside from the delicious cheese entree, wine and duck main course, before desert we visited the cheese cellar, containing some 150 cheeses and could help ourselves to as many types of cheese as we cared to taste. I repeat, heaven for cheese fans. The second winery we visited was amazing, especially with the tasting taking place in a medieval castle surrounded by a moat. A very worthwhile way to experience a tour of Bordeaux!
