4-Day Canyons and National Parks Tour from Las Vegas

My Review: A good introduction to this part of the USA if you have restricted time. Accommodation was more basic than expected, don't expect to stay in the hotels mentioned in the details but it was adequate. Also don't expect too much guidance apart from DVD's on the bus. They take you there and do a minimum. Grand Canyon was good and had the opportunity to make our own way to watch the sunset. Monument Valley was also good but would have liked more photo stops. You transfer to small open vehicles. The sales staff was not aggressive so was okay. Bryce was the highlight but would have liked more time and a chance for a decent walk. No opportunity to do sunset as shuttles stop running early. The 'cowboy' show in Bryce is not recommended. Zion was a bit of a let down at the end. No chance of photo stops on the spectacular drive in. To get the most out of Zion you need time to go walking. The walk up the canyon is not so spectacular, it's just a river walk. The driver and guide seemed more interested in getting back to Vegas early. Overall though a pretty good introduction and saved a lot of driving through vast arid areas. Our stop at Seligman on Route 66 was fun, Maybe next time we will make more time and hire a vehicle.
