We were told that this tour helps the people of the Mekong with employments/income, yet when we were at the usually location for a tourist to spend money we were not given any time to look around.
Highlight - taxi bike ride through the back roads and lunch
Lowlight - warm coconut on the way back.

For my first visit to Saigon on my owe this was a great way for me to get my bearings and get to know the city.
Highlight - finding the local restaurant for lunch, which I went back to.
Lowlight - you could do most of these attractions by yourself just as well.

If you have limited time but want to get the River Kawi Bridge and Death Railway this is a good way.
We never felt like we were short on time, our guide Yai would always give us a brief outline and then let us go. The JEATH Museum could be skipped as it is very run down and needs work badly.

Given that I can only say Hello and Thank You in Chinese this tour was a life saver. I would never have gotten to these areas and seen what I did purely as you need to be able to read the signs and communicate with the locals if you get lost.
The tour in Suzhou in both gardens was very quick, unfortunately due to the pace I did not listen to the guide explaining the history as I was busy trying to get some photos….I am a photo nut. However I am very glad I have seen them.
The only thing I would change would be the length of time we spent at the Silk Factory, personally for me the time allowed to shop was too long but I am sure there are others that thought it was too short.
I would have loved to have spent more time at Zhouzhuang, especially as the sun was starting the sun and the light was almost perfect.
I was taking this tour on my own so it was very good for me I had a fabulous time.

If I could change anything on this tour I would have increased the time spent at Wat Maha That, 45 mintues is no way near long enough. I could have passed on the other to spots we visited and stayed here. Put the Summer palace was very interesting to see. May have been good from them to tell you before getting there that coverage of shoudler and knees is required and that ladies would need a skirt to enter some bulidings.

I did this tour on my owe as my husband was working and I have a great time. The people on the your were freindly and the guides were great even giving us a on listed stop on the tour as per our request. The market was excellent and a great way to get right into the real Thailand. Don't think about it just do it.
