We were picked up over ten minutes late (first ones on), then two "no-show" pickups, meaning we drove around Paris for over an hour before finally picking up another couple. After that, straight to the airport, arriving in plenty of time for our flight. Overall, good, reliable, cheap shuttle service and I will use it again.

Overall, a good day. Our driver/tour guide had a sound knowledge of the history of the Somme, and the highlight was definitely visiting Villers-Bretonneux , walking along the trenches, and seeing just how close the Allies front line was to the German front line. My one concern was on the return trip, when our driver became quite abusive to other drivers. He had warned us when we first started out that he swears when driving, and the traffic on the return trip was heavy, but my husband and I felt that this was unnecessary and unprofessional, especially when the swearing was at times broadcasted over the intercom, for us all to hear. We were very relieved to return to our hotel at the end of a very long, but otherwise enjoyable and enriching day!

This was the second time I have taken this tour with Viator (the last time being in 2009). Monet's house and gardens were lovely, although access along the paths through the gardens has now been restricted to only one path, which was a shame. The water lily garden is definitely a highlight of the trip. Versailles was great! I chose a Tuesday, as I knew the fountain displays were on, and we were fortunate enough to see these magnificent fountains spurting out water, accompanied by equally magnificent classicial music! Versailles is a definite must for anyone visiting France!

This was my third visit to Nice, but I had never before gone past the "Old Town" part of Nice, where I always stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the morning tour, which included driving to up to Castel Park, which overlooks the Bay of Angels, visiting the Matisse Museum, seeing the Franciscan Monastery and its beautiful 15th century gardens,with olive trees and roses. We also drove past the beautiful Russian Cathedral. Wow! Overalll, a great introduction to Nice, and thoroughly recommended.
