We were collected from our hotel and driven straight to Chichen Itza.an approximately 2.5 hrs. The mini bus was airconditioned and comfortable. Our group was small - 10. Our guide was extremely knowledgable (being of mayan ancestary!) and the bus driver friendly. The lunch was included and fantastic variety. Our ticket enabled us to use the hotel pool and we took advantage of this as the day was extremely hot. Hats/umbrellas and plenty of liquids advisable. Plenty of opportunaity to buy cheap presents/gifts for back home, as there are stalls everywhere. A good trip and value for money.
Fantastic! My husband didn't stop smiling for the whole 2.5hrs (think its a man thing driving a fast engine!!) We were in the 9am trip. There were 4 boats in our group. We had a brief safety/instruction and we were off. Due to the bad weather during the night meant we were unable to go snorkelling at first we were disappointed however our guide took us all over the place and threw in a few 'stunts' making the trip well worth the money. Thank you.
Cancun or Playa del Carmen, Mexico
We were collected from our hotel and joined other mini buses at the depot before heading off to Xel-Ha. Our guide was very informative regarding the park and made sure we were fully up to speed before being let loose! We headed straight for the bicycles and this was fun and leisurely. We then did the lazy river on a double ring through the mangroves. We then did the zip wires, ropes and assualt course before snorkelling to the hotel. Lots of colourful fish so worth doing. All are provided with life jackets, snorkels and flippers. Lockers also plentiful. Unfortunately we had very heavy rain and the weather turned chilly made worse by being wet! The restuarants then all filled very quickly as not many places to get out of the rain. Food was fantastic - plenty of choices and staff work really hard. Coffee also available. A good value for money day out - even in the rain so can only imagine how great if the sun was out!
San Francisco, California
We met the motorized cable car in Union Square at 7.30am. The driver, Arturo, met us with blankets (was chilly), cereal bars, drinks and a big smile! We were driven to the ferry port to catch the 8.45am ferry to Alcatraz. Would highly recommend being early as not very busy and certainly not rushed. The headsets provided at the beginning of the tour added real atmosphere (as narrated by ex cons, guards and sound effects!) and you can go at your own pace as you can pause, rewind the narration. Look for the welcome guard as you disembark the ferry - he was a real character! We caught the 11am ferry back and was met by Arturo. Next was the Bodin Sour Dough factory for a brief tour of the famous factory and luch was provided by them - fab sandwich, crisps and cookie. We then did a tour of San Francisco, narrated all the way by Arturo, taking in lots of sights including crossing the Golden Gate bridge twice with lots of opportunities to take photos (and toilet breaks). Arturo was very keen to ensure we had lots of photos and often taking them for us just to be sure! This trip was great value for money and made even better by our driver and guide. Well done Viator another successful trip with you. Thank you.
I would definitely reccommend booking this tour.
Our guide was from Rome and spoke perfect english and was extremely knowledgable. Her delivery made the tour alive and fun. There were 10 in our group so good not too large. We would have missed so much if we had tried to do this tour ourselves. We were given headsets so we could hear our guide perfectly. Not queuing and fast tracking ensured the whole 3 hours packed and not wasted.
Well done Viator - another successful trip booked through you!
