A great way to spend a few hours. Note that it's not too taxing, so is best for those after a relaxing countryside ride rather than those who want a physical challenge. It's amazing how peaceful the area and the villages are, given that you're only just outside central Amsterdam!

Have a spare day in Amsterdam? This is a great way to pack in something different. I've given 5 stars as the guide and level of organisation was excellent, but of course one must be aware that you're not going to see much of these cities in this time. You'll get a taster, ready to come back for more next time.

A stellar evening, I was really impressed with the food and the service for the price. Amsterdam is beautiful by night, and this is a fantastic way to see it. Two thumbs up.

The guide I had was just fantastic, full of great facts, really friendly and open, and a great sense of humor. A fantastic way to get a feel for the city. Highly recommended!

If you have a day to spare, it's definitely worth taking the trip out to the coast of Normandy to see Mont Saint Michel. The guided tour of this fantastic place was excellent. The only thing was that the restaurant for lunch wasn't fantastic - I advise skipping the lunch and having a bite to eat at one of the many eateries at the base of the Abbey. Be sure to try the local specialties!

One can't take in Paris all in one go, but this was a great start. Good to get your bearings and hear a bit about the history of the city with an excellent and knowledgable guide. Just be sure that you're up to walking about 5km.

Pompidou often gets missed off in favour of the Louvre and Orsay museums, but this is highly recommended, especially for skeptics of contemporary art! A fantastic guide will help you understand some of the key works in the collection in context. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

A lovely evening to be sure, but I think the price is a little steep compared to similar cruises I've done elsewhere. Regardless, the boat is beautiful, the food delicious and plentiful, service exemplary and Paris by night is a wonder.

Quaint Giverny contrasts excellently with the opulence (and crowds) at Versailles. I had been unsure where it was worth making the trip to Versailles given the crowds, but it was well worth it. The included lunch was excellent and the guide had a fantastic sense of humor.

Genuinely educational. The sommelier was engaging and pleasantly informal. The only thing is that the main course was tough (chef may have been having an off night).
