No lines to skip since the Duomo was closed in preparation for Easter Sunday. Lots of walking and gave me the confidence to "get lost" on my own in Venice. Not much history, the tour guide was shouting to us and very difficult to listen given the amount of people in the city.
This trip started out bad, less than one star. The tour group put us on the wrong tour (right tour but wrong time), and the tour was overbooked, we were part of the overflow. This worked out for us since we had a really small group and had very personalized tour guide. The tour it self was great we saw and did a lot of Holland. The tour group was very helpful and professional. My only problem with the tour is that the stops were mainly to businesses that sell cheese, wooden shoes, diamonds, etc. It takes away from the experience. Mind you all souvenirs seem good quality. If not for the "gift shop" stops this tour in my experience would have been a 5 star attraction. Keep in mind from what I saw this is a very large group tour. The bus is a double Decker filled to capacity.
