This ride wasn't all that we had hoped for, but we were glad we did it. The operators weren't exactly helpful and a lot of people us included weren't sure if we were in the right place. Once we boarded, we unfortunately were seated facing backwards, so you felt like you were staring at the other people in the gondola the whole time. The gondoliers talked among themselves a lot so if you weren't near the gondola with the singer, you had a hard time hearing him. He was the highlight of the ride- great voice and easy on the eyes!
We spent 8 days in Italy and this was by far our favorite day! Our guide, Stephano, was everything a guide should be- nice, funny and informative. He was always willing to take pictures and even give suggestions on places to eat in Florence. Our guide in Siena was fantastic, too you could tell she was really passionate about the history and landmarks. Lunch consisted of some of the most delicious pasta I have ever had and my friend really enjoyed the wine tasting I don't drink. You can even purchase some of the pasta and wine in their gift shop. This tour was very well organized and much easier than trying to see all of the sites on your own. On a side note, the bus was parked on the street in between the Santa Maria Novella Church and the taxi stand at the train station. It was labelled 'BroBus' on the sides and back. Took us a minute to find it since there were a couple of buses in the area, but once we did it was smooth sailing!
Having been to Disneyland in Anaheim a million times, it was fun to see a different version of Disneyland. There were many of the same familiar rides, but in name only. For example, Indian Jones was an actual roller coaster, complete with a loop and drops. The cast members were very nice and most spoke fluent English. I would highly recommend this place for any Disny lover. Can't wait to go back!
This was a great way to see the city. The audio didn't always work and sometimes the buses would stop for awhile before moving on. We used this as our transportation, as opposed to taxis or the metro because it stopped at all the major attractions. We would definitely use it again, despite the previously mentioned 'hiccups.'
