My Review: One of the best tours I took while in Rome. Note, I am a history and archeaology buff so if you're like me, you'll love this. The tour guide was professional, knowledgeable and very helpful after the tour how to get back on the Termini. I would DEFINITELY recommend this for you history fans.

Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este Half-Day Trip from Rome

My Review: The tour guide smoked almost every minute while off the bus. This was misrepresented in that I did not know I was going to Tivoli but ONLY Hadrian's Villa. The tour guide was rude and dropped me off with lilttle instruction where and when to meet him. The tour would have been OK if we had had a PROFESSIONAL !

My Review: Probably the best tour I took while in Rome (except for the Vatican Museum one). The guide was very informative and gave me a lot of the history and archeaology info. I was seekding. If you're an ancient history buff like me, you'll love this. Highly recommended.

My Review: The guide made this tour very worthwhile and a value for the money. He was from the States but had lived in Rome for years and had studied extensively ancient Roman arts and the masters. He made the Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's come alive. Highly recommend this tour!

My Review: This was good and efficient. Only caveat, plan on 2 hours transportation if you're going to a downtown Rome hotel. We had 6 stops and I was the second to last. Plan ahead !

Frascati Wine Tasting Tour from Rome

My Review: This was OK if you're into wines, which I am not. If am from CA and I could have done the same in wine country. This tour did, however, have a good tour of the vines, we even tasted the harvest on the vines as I travelled in Sept. and harvest was in about 2 weeks. The tasting consisted of 4 wines, a light white, 2 good different reds and a final very sweet dessert wine.

Rome's Tiber River Dinner Cruise

My Review: OK for you lovers. I was travelling by myself so I wouln't do it again. The boat trip was in a covered boat so you could not see much. It would have been better in an open-top. But the dinner was a traditional 3 course Italian meal with wine and we had an on-board singer that sang songs the entire 2 1/2 hours. So if this is your kind of thing, I would recommend it. I am a history nut and would have preferred a narrated tour of the history of the Tiber River and Rome.

My Review: This would have been better for me if I had used more of the good public transportation. Instead I walked a lot in Copenhagen. A great city, however. Just look out for the bicyclers ! If you're doing a lot of the museums, castles, public transportation, it is a value. You get discounts off things like the canal tours. Free entrance to a lot of things: I walked to the Castle in town. Their public transp. systems is great: I got from the airport to my hotel using the subway and it was easy !
