The first day, which was a Sydney City Tour, seemed thin. The driver was also the tour guide and there wasn't much interesting information shared. He was a bit older and he spoke with little passion or energy. Half an hour into the drive, we were dozing off. It's too bad because the city has so much to offer. The lunch cruise had a fair selection of food, and the staff made sure the people didn't all rush to the buffet at the same time. The cruise ended at 3pm -- too early... you're on your own for the rest of the day. It would have been better to extend the city tour after lunch as there was still so much to see.
The Blue Mountains tour guide was a bit livelier and was able to keep the people more interested. He gave clear instructions about pickup and drop off times and locations. We were able to ride the 3 rides in Blue Mountain for an added fee. It wasn't made clear to us that from Olympic Park, there was an optional ferry ride back to the city. Everyone got off the bus only to find out at the dock that a few had not bought the option so we walked back to the bus again. Be aware that you don't actually tour Olympic Park -- you just drive past a few structures to get to the dock.
