Las Vegas, Nevada
The dam trip was great but forget the extras. The chocolate factory was just to sell expensive chocolates which we would have been buying in the heat of the day. The "botanical gardens" was a pathetic cactus garden around the chocolate factory!! ( it was one thing I was excited to see so disappointing and for both we had half an hour!!) the buffet lunch was nearly back in Vegas in a casino of course was disgusting food hated it and wished I hadn't eaten it but was 130 by that time so very Hungary.
The dam was great enjoyed that very much. I didn't like out driver "asking" for a tip because he had spent 6 hours of hi time with us!! This is why I have given this trip 3 stars. I would suggest just do the cheaper option.

The actual trip I would give 5 stars absolutely wonderful!!! Just a few things I think the company needs to update ie the beds. I slept in a tent in the national park in Africa and in the desert in India and I was given a pillow plus my bed was a canvas stretcher so comfortable. We were given just a lilo that you blew up but for some reason it didn't blow up to thicker than a bread roll so very uncomfortable and no pillow. Most of us were unaware we would have to cook for ourselves and buy (we had to shop for it) our own dinner. There was only one young girl who does the lot ,she wasn't very organised really but a great driver and what a huge responsibility!! Luckily as a group we got on really really well as there wasn't much enthusiasm coming from our tour leader (exhausted I would think!! ). I am 61 and my friend older we were the eldest on the trip but the rest mid 30 s and younger felt the same but loved it too.
What an amazing trip though can highly recommend it to all.

Thank you for your feedback! Our tour operator has written with some responses about your concerns, we have abridged the response below for you: "In the States Tour Operators are required to transport all camping equipment with them and so blow up lilos and canvas stretchers are not an option. We do provide top of the line air thermarests or foam sleeping pads. The thermarests are self inflating and with top up from the camper they inflate to 2 inches. We do not provide evening meals on this tour. We offer a choice of two evening meals at local affordable restaurants in order to sample local cuisine such as Navajo tacos in Monument Valley or if you prefer you may BBQ at the campsite. The BBQ is great fun but obviously you have to purchase the BBQ items first!" Thank you again for your feedback, we hope you enjoyed the rest of your vacation!
