This is a definite must do if you have the time in HK. I had previously visited the Giant Buddha on a prior trip to HK but this is an extremely well packaged tour. Though the Giant Buddha is supposely the highlight of the tour, all other parts of the tour were worthwhile experiences. There was not one dull moment on this trip. The Tai Oi fishing village which includes a sampan ride is a much better experience than Aberdeen. The vegetarian lunch at the Monastery was excellent. I never thought vegetarian can taste so good. I strongly recommend this to everyone and it's definitely worth every penny!

Good for those in HK for the first time and if you want a quick overview of the main sites in HK Island and have limited time. I would not recommend buying anything at Stanley Market. They are not prepared to negotiate on prices and you can basically get the same things at Ladies Market or Temple Street Market in Kowloon for a discounted price.

My friend and l really enjoyed the show and never ceased to be amazed. You are so captivated by the performance that the show is over before you know it. I have been to a number of these shows before but still appreciated every moment. The motorcycle act at the end of the show had to be seen to be believed. Amazing! At the end of the show, the tour takes you for a short trip to the French Concession (Xintiandi). We had already been there so that part of the tour was a bit dull. We probably could have just booked the acrobat show ourselves and made our own way there.

If you are in Shanghai and want something to do outside the city, l strongly recommend this tour. The boat ride at the water village was definitely my favourite part of the tour. It is quite an amazing town. Not quite the same experience as a gondola ride in Venice but can definitely see why it's called the Venice of the East and definitely a must visit. The tour could be improved by allowing even just 1hr free time to wonder around the water village on our own so we could have explored some of the shops or to just sit down for a nice drink in one of the cafes along the canals and enjoyed the experience. The highlight of my Shanghai experience.

It takes 2.5hrs to get to Hangzhou by car from Shanghai so there is a lot of time spent on the road on this tour. If you only have time for 1 day tour in Shanghai, l would recommend the Suzhou and Zhouzhuang Water Village day trip. However, if you have extra time and enjoy gardens, tea and nature, this is still worth the time. My friend and l both enjoyed our time here. To make this tour more attractive, l would suggest that lunch should be arranged at one of the local home/teahouses around the tea plantations so you get more of a local culinary experience. Also, though West Lake is the main attraction in Hangzhou, l would recommend that some more time be allocated to have a free wonder at Nine Creeks as it was quite a beautiful park, and cooler! Note that the tour does not cover a walk inside the Pagoda.
