New York 4th of July Dinner Cruise

My Review: My husband celebrated his 40th birthday on 4th July, hence us travellnig from South Africa to the USA to celebrate with the Americans on Independence Day. We thought we'd celebrate Independence Day in style, so after much deliberation internet research, travellers reviews etc, we chose this cruise. We had a great time - we weren't given a great table to start with in middle of boat so no real view of outside, but after asking to move, we were seated at a window seat which was much better. The food was good, the service excellent and the DJ who got the party going after the fireworks display was great fun too and got everyone up on the dancefloor doing all sorts of dances. We were worried about what age group would be on the trip, but were very happy with the mix - some golden oldies, some families with young kids, and many our age too. We went outside onto the deck to watch the fireworks and had a splendid view. We had a great time - yes, it was expensive, but it was a special occasion for us and was worth it.
