unfortunately our garden tour of villa borghese was a washout......but we loved the tour of the inside....our guide did a fantastic job.....we would have liked a little more time to just browse the rooms and the artwork by ourselves though....the guide told us we only see the most 'popular' pieces.....so unfortunately, we missed a lot of the other artwork.

our guide was fantastic.....our complaint about this tour is that we booked and payed for a SMALL tour of 20 or less but had 28 in our group. That is NOT a small tour!....as the colosseum is a very busy place, our group got spread out and the signal of our guides voice (via earphones) was lost. a few people complained to her and it was NOT her fault she did a wonderful job and she herself was not expecting 28 people as she had to check with her supervisor........we wouldnt recommend this but would do the tour ourselves with the help of rented earphones.

We had a fantastic time on this tour........all the places on the tour were really good...our guides were terrific.......our hotel was superb and the only thing we would have liked was to be given the chance to have a swim in the mediterranean.......we brought our bathers but did not get a chance to do so.
