Singapore Sentosa Island Afternoon Trip

Singapore, Singapore

My Rating
3 star rating: Worth doing

My Review
Picked up right on time by very efficient guide who managed to keep our large group together. Sentosa was crowded due to Singapore school holidays and very hot. The tour involves getting on and off and standing on crowded buses to get from one attraction to another so the elderly and those with a disability should bear this in mind. We also encountered quite a few steps. The pink dolphins were lovely, as was the Songs of the Sea show in the evening, however I skipped Underwater World as it was too crowded. Overall a good tour, and well organised, however you'll need some stamina if you don't like the heat or are getting on in years.

Singapore by Night Tour with Dinner along Singapore River

Singapore, Singapore

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
This was a fantastic tour. Picked up spot on time by a knowledgable and friendly guide. Lovely dinner overlooking the river at Clarke Quay. Plenty of top quality food. Had a short time at Bugis market. Be careful not to get lost as I nearly did as there are lots of alleyways and they all seem to look the same. Then on to the Raffles Hotel for a Singapore Sling. Didn't like the taste of it but at least I can now cross it off my list. Great band playing in the bar and everyone had plenty of time to mingle and dance if they wanted to. All in all a great night and I'll definitely do it again when next in Singapore.

Singapore Zoo Morning Tour with optional Jungle Breakfast amongst Orangutans

Singapore, Singapore

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
This was a wonderful tour. Friendly, knowledgable guide and picked up right on time. The breakfast was of a good quality and there was no rush to finish eating as you went up during the meal to have your pictures taken in front of the Orangutans. We then had some time to wander around the zoo by ourselves. I originally thought that I would want to stay on and find my own way back to the hotel later in the day, but I found the heat so energy-sapping that I was glad to go back with the others. In fact, I realized that no-one else stayed on either but the group comprised of mainly 'mature' people so that is probably the reason. All in all a great tour which I would highly recommend.
