The trip was really nice and the tour guide was so interested in the events and what happened during that time so you couln't wait for the next stop to hear more stories he had to share. We were indeed a small group so there was also some communication with the guide and you could learn more than just going around with audio guide and reading the informations hanging in the halls.

Have you ever had a steam train ride? You will with this trip. The tour guide was funny and had plenty of stories to tell about the area and what had happened there. The palace is not the only thing you see as you go there by boat you can also visit a monastry and/or a local beer making place on a different island.

The area where the castles are is so beautiful and amazing looking, worth to see. The Linderhof castle yard is really amazing and would have been nice to see more around but time was limited. Neuschwanstein is one of the places where you have to go, even as the castle is not 100% finished, this castle is situated in amazingly beautiful part. If you don't believe me go there and see it yourself!
