The parasailing experience itself was great, but was about 4hrs round trip total for just several minutes of actual parasailing. "1.5-hour parasailing Oahu adventure" is hugely misleading.
We called to confirm the bus time/location, and even though we were in the 10am slot, the pickup was after 10am (we got back in the afternoon). Usually the pickup is before the activity starts, so the rest of our planning that day was thrown off. Also they weren't very clear at all on the phone and sounded confused themselves, we were eventually told to call back again the day before (had called 3 days in advance which was fine for all the other tours).
We could pay an extra $10/person to go up to 500ft (as opposed to 300). They offer other activities at Maunalua Bay such as jet skiing etc., may have been better to combine this with other activities if we knew in advance. Of course they rip you off with the pictures, and trying to get you to tip every single person involved. While in Hawaii we saw other parasailing advertised where we would have gone higher than 500ft for a similar price, and probably would have been more cost efficient considering the total time we spent.

This was definitely worth doing once. A bit pricey, but the high end dinner was great, and the submarine experience was unique.

This was timely and relatively efficient. They just plop the lei on you, and direct you to the van/driver, but was great to have someone waiting there and not have to search for other transportation.
