It is a long day but worth every penny. Our guide in Pompeii was knowledgable, with great sense of humor. Lunch was good. We choose the pizza Margarita since there is a legend attached to that pizza . We could choose one free drink water, wine, beer or lemonade. The climb up Vesuvius was strenuous but more than worth the effort.

It was a fantastic trip. We saw more in less time than we ever could have on our own. Clara and Antonio made the trip very easy and extremely interesting. Venice was breathtaking even with the rain. The local guides were very knowledgeable and enhanced our time in each of the cities. The only drawback we had was the optional museum tour in Florence to see David. It was rushed and we wished we had more time there. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

We liked our guide Nicolo. He was very knowledgable and willing to answer any question. We recommend to choose the early trip to the Vatican before the crowds. It cost a little more but it worth it once you see the crowds after regular admission time.
