Very cool experience going under the colosseum and to the top - wouldn't change that at all. However I found the tour to be to long with to much talking from the guide, especially at the Roman Forum and Palatine (sp?). Shorten the speaking and just give people the quick info. If people have further questions than answer them but not everyone enjoys the history lessons.

Awesome time on the islads. Burano is stunning, Murano is basically just to see the glass be made right there and Torcello you think will be boring but buy a bottle of wine for $5 and sit on a bench and enjoy the sites of the old churches and vineyard. Plus latter afternoon a few restaurants open on the island of Torcello.

Cool to experience once and cheap compared to the private ride
