Hidden Valley and Primm ATV Tour

My Review: One word.... AMAZING! :) had never been quad biking before and as we drove to the starting location I was feeling a little nervous, especially as the others in our group we all taking about the numerous times they had been! The safety talk & demo was smooth and quick, but afterwards, I asked for a one to one demo as I was still a little unsure about the controls on the bike. The instructor did this for me without any problem, he was very patient with me. Once we set off, it was clear that I was a little slower than the rest of the group, but I just went as fast as I felt comfortable going. My confidence grew as the morning went on. At the first stop I said sorry to the group for holding them back, but the instructor was clear that it was my experience as well as just to go as fast as I wanted to. This made me feel better :) The highlight was without doubt the dry lake bed... a smooth open space where we could ride flat out as fast as the bike would allow, a truly amazing experience. Would def recommend wearing proper trainers and covering up you legs and arms as it is obv very dusty. This is a great choice for all levels of quad bikers, some of the inclines are pretty steep and very bumpy, but if I coped with it, then everyone can! This was one of the highlights of our Honeymoon in Las Vegas. The guys who operate this tour, were fab and have an obv love of what they do. I found it really good value for money. Book it! :)

Grand Canyon All American Helicopter Tour

My Review: My first helicopter flight! Weather was a little stormy in the morning, so when we checked in we were given the choice of re booking or risking it, we risked it and glad we did! Our pilot was fab! Good humor and very knowledgeable about all aspects of Vegas and the GC. The flight there was smooth and gave some excellent views. Lunch at the bottom was a bit rushed and just a simple sandwich and drink, so just ok. The view from landing in the Canyon was truly amazing, the photos will never do it justice, so make sure you take a moment to take it all in, before you climb back aboard the helicopter. The ride back was a little bumpy thanks to the weather, but still pretty smooth! Yes this tour is expensive, but in my opinion worth it, as it saves a long drive as you fly from just by the airport. This is a must for anyone visiting Las Vegas, a real highlight of our honeymoon.
