The pre-purchased pass to RIjksmuseum saved us a long wait in line. The canal bus was fun and interesting to ride because it exposed us to a canal view of Amsterdam living.

This tour was a bit rushed, but the walk along the river in Ghent was worth the time on the bus. It gave us such a sense of the history of this city. Bruges, although beautiful, was packed with tourists.

Keukenhof Gardens and Tulip Fields Tour from Amsterdam

An absolute must if you should be in Amsterdam when the tulips are in bloom! We arrived on a sunny, warm day, and spent the majority of our time meandering along the paths that led to endless varieties and colors of tulips in bloom. I've never seen gardens quite this beautiful!
