Vienna Woods and Mayerling Half Day Trip
Tour / Activity
Location: Vienna, Austria
My Review: Strongly recommend! There is no doubt that there are more than enough things to do in Vienna in the city. However, if you want to escape the city for a day (most of a day!) this is a great way to do it. Basically the trip has 3 parts - the monastery, a church, and the underground lake. I'm not religious, and was in awe at the monastery - the stained glass windows left me speechless. The underground lake is an amazing sight. Be warned it is naturally a constant temperature of 9 degree celsius, which was actually a nice way to escape the summer heat! After a guided tour through the abandoned mine, you have a boat ride which was incredibly peaceful. This is where part of the 3 Musketeers movie (with Kiefer Sutherland) was filmed.

Vienna Evening Tour including Danube Tower Visit
Tour / Activity
Location: Vienna, Austria
My Review: This tour may be a bit different in winter when it gets darker earlier. I enjoyed the tour, but felt parts were overstated on Viator. The "admiring the historic buildings along Ring Avenue" was just a coach trip around the ring. Views from Danube tour were great, but still light due to it being summer. The description says 'end the night at a wine tavern in Grinzing", but most of our time was spent here, and if you are a non-drinker (like I am), it wouldn't be on your list of things to do. Having said that, the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the performers at the winery were very talented.

Helsinki Sightseeing Tour
Tour / Activity
Location: Helsinki, Finland
My Review: A fairly short tour, but this is clearly advertised and is very inexpensive. You are on a coach for almost the entire time, we had a quick stop at the "church in the rock" and also at the Seibelus monument, but apart from that you stay on board. I would have liked more of an opportunity to get off the coach and a bit longer at the church. However, it certainly gave you a good feel for where things were in the city. Excellent tour guide as always.

Macau Day Trip from Hong Kong
Tour / Activity
Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong
My Review: Wonderful tour guide. Great trip, before hand I associate Macau with gambling and not much else. The trip really shows you a lot of Macau. I went on a fine day and paying extra to go to the top of Macau Tower was worth it. Lunch was buffet style so something to suit various tastes. If you want to go to Macau just to gamble, I wouldn't recommend the tour, as our casino visit was the last part of the tour - and was for less than an hour. But for those who want to get an overall feel of Macau, this was brillant. Remember to take your passport.

Lantau Island and Giant Buddha Day Trip from Hong Kong
Tour / Activity
Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong
My Review: Overall this was a great day out - you not only see the Giant Buddha but also a small fishing village, and the Cable Car ride after visiting the Giant Buddha gives magical views. Tour guides very informative.

Hong Kong Island Half-Day Tour
Tour / Activity
Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong
My Review: This is a good tour if you haven't been to Hong Kong Island before - it was miserable weather the day I went which made me not enjoy it as much - but obviously that's not the fault of the tour! Stanley Markets are always suggested as one of the 'must seedo' places, but this tour also gives you a feel of the whole island.
