This was an excursion of mixed feelings. Departure and pickup was about 30 late. During the 45 minutes of travel, it would have been nice for guide to speak about "something". Rafting was good but with pileups much like "It's A Small World" at Disney. Too many rafts too close. Good elephant ride.

This was an adequate service. We were promptly met at PVG airport and escorted to the MagLev Train. The ride was quick and uneventful. Unfortunately, after arriving, we had to be transferred to another taxi cab for our ride to the hotel. This took approximately 25+ minutes additionally. In all, a taxi ride from the onset would have been faster overall and with less cost. Before booking the MagLev, I recommend checking how far the station is from your hotel. Again, the train was quick and reliable. Some additional concerns need to be addressed if you have a lot of luggage is this was a problem getting on and off the train. We ultimately decided to take a return taxi back to the PVG airport instead of taking the train. It was much faster for us this way.

I was the only English speaking participant on the tour. It was average with a lot of driving and limited time at the venues. Overall, the tour was enjoyable, however not a home run. Be prepared for an open air jeep ride, lots of walking, average waterfalls, average lunch. In all a nice overview tour, but nothing to write home about.

After much hype, this was a big disappointment. First, it was very expensive to hire a taxi from the hotel to the pier. Second, the light show itself was entirely a non-plus. One would have a better experience in New York City or Las Vegas. This tour took us around the harbor several times but the light display itself, was ho-hum. Many buildings on the shore with lit up light displays lasting 15 minutes or so, but overall not a good use of valuable vacation time.

After a long overseas flight into Hong Kong, I expected to be met at the arrival lounge. While I finally connected with my contact, it was because I searched him out and not vice versa. It would have been nicer to have my name on a card at arrival halls instead of the name of the tour operator. Although bus service was nice, there are many other options available for hotel transfer including rapid transit. May consider using that instead next time.

Mass production tourist processing. Staff seemed unengaged and distant. Somewhat disorganized as compared to past times we took this tour. It seems the young generation even in Phuket has been infected with lack of service, lack of caring and money oriented attitudes.

We purchased a 6 day pass. Had difficulties with the card at several venues. No way to reach the office by telephone on Sunday, so we lost a day. This is a good deal; however, you will be best advised to plan ahead with the venues you are going to visit. Best use is multiple days with 3-4 events per day.

Very well organized and executed tour. Logistics were excellent, guide was very knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. Itinerary was quite interesting and varied. Well-paced and highly informative. Although we came across other tour groups during our day, we never felt rushed nor crowded. Ample rest stops available all day. A highlight was the excellent river cruise during the afternoon including a fabulous lunch and beautiful sites all along the way. We met a delightful number of other travellers from all over the world, several of which we hope to remain in touch with. All of our expectations were met except for some longer than expected waits while connecting with other passengers at the central departure point early in the day.

In all, definitely worth doing during your visit to Bangkok. Viator is highly professional all the way. We appreciated being personally phoned at our hotel the night before to both confirm our reservation and receiving notification of timing for our pickup and drop off.
