The tour was excellent. It was fascinating to drive on the Appian Way past Quo Vadis Domini where Peter is thought by tradition to have had a vision of Christ that moved him to return to Rome to face Nero's persecutors in his courageous martyrdom...Then visiting catacomb of Domitilla was most informative...finally... Short visits to St John of the Lateran ...seeing the Holy Staircase...and St Mary Major was a good overview. Rome is so big with so much to see. I can't imagine trying to see it without the help of a good tour. The guide was funny and informative. This was a good value contrary to the bad reviews given to the tour company for other tours. Conducted in a minivan... Comfortable, timely ... Very good!

Excellent! Wonderful guide... Very informative...a must on your first trip to Rome. A little confusion about where to meet because different groups had slightly different meeting places at the Colosseo subway station but instructions on Internet confirmation were reliable.
