The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He made the trip interesting. There was more walking than expected, I would not recommend this trip for anyone with mobility issues. We had 6 on our tour in a small van which was very crowded, I feel the trip was over-priced for what was received.
This was a very convenient way to see the countryside outside of Amsterdam. Windmills, cheese, and wooden shoes are a part of everyone's picture of Holland and this meets the expectations. It should be noted that there is an extreme amount of walking on this tour and it should be included in the tour's description. Several elderly folks on this tour were struggling to keep up and probably should not have taken the tour do to mobility issues.
We were very pleased with our tour to Dachau. Our guide, Ian, did a wonderful job of explaining the history and answering questions. He was very pleasant and everything ran smoothly under his guidance. The entire experience was organized with just the right balance of "guided tour" and time on our own.
This tour was not up to the Viator standards I have become accustomed to over the past few years. We had purchased the Grand Tour to cover all of Munich, but the tour (which was suppose to be in Engilsh and German) was all German with a few English words thrown in from time to time. The guide didn't use a microphone and she was on the lower deck so hearing her was next to impossible anyway.. This tour amounted to a fast drive around the city with the guide occasionally telling us what we just passed. We left in disgust halfway through our "Grand Tour".
