The flamenco was fantastic and quite a spectacular experience. The illuminated tour beforehand was very disappointing due to the continuous repetition of the tour guide about the cathedral and the numerous restaurants in Madrid.

El Escorial Monastery and the Valley of the Fallen from Madrid

This was an excellent tour and the guide was lovely. Escorial was a beautiful place and well worth the visit. There wasn't much time at the Valley of the Fallen but it was still worth a visit. The basilica and cross are astounding to see.

Although I had to wait for half an hour for the taxi, it was stil worth the cost as it is good value for the door to door service. As it was at night, it was also a great introduction to Madrid as you got to see the sights on the way.
