Yosemite National Park and Giant Sequoias Trip

My Review: Very long trip. The driver was very nice. Actually he was the best part. At least his information kept things going for this 14 hour trip. Two hours in the bus, then stopped at a grocery store to eat. Then two more hours. Saw El capitan and Half Dome from a field in Yosemite. Then off to the cafeteria for an hour to eat. Drove a while more where we were let out of the bus. Told to walk down a road about a mile to see the Sequoia trees (1 live, one chopped off and 1 laying on it's side). Oh yeah, then back up that mountain for a mile, all at 8,000 ft. elevation. It's o.k. as he gave us an hour and a half to make the trek. Back in the bus, two hour drive back to the same grocery store to eat again. Then 2 hours more back to the city. Recommend? No, not unless you absolutely have nothing better to do with 14 hours in San francisco.

My Review: The driver was very well versed in the history of the local as well as world wine. He kept things interesting from the beginning to the end. Even though I do not drink, I have to say I enjoyed the tour.

My Review: A must have if you are staying in the city at all. That is unless you really enjoy walking, walking, walking. Saved a ton as we stayed for a week. Once we learned the routes, we got around the city fairly easily. If I ever go back, I ABSOLUTELY will purchase the CityPass again.
