Very knowledgable guide but she spewed a huge amount of information with heavy Brittish accent with oblique references and colloquialisms that made it hard to follow. All over cheap mic/earbuds that made it even more difficult to follow. Saw a lot but a simple guidebook would have been easier. Skipped the boat tour as all the boats we saw were crowded cattle boats we wanted no part of. I would not recommend this tour. Walk the same thing with a guidebook and spend 80 Euro (for a group of 3) on a private gondola ride.
Excellent. The Italian guide spoke excellent English and didnt use the low quality mic/earphones that many tours use. He had lots of info beyond just the theme of the tour. Only disappointment was the Chigi Chapel was sealed for construction but admittedly also was in book. A great plus was finishing up with a tour of Castle of St. Angelo which I didnt realize was in addition to the four sites along the Path of Illumination I expected to see. And a bus took us on the longest distances between sites. Unadvertised free drink along the way too. Definitely got my money's worth
